Scott Behring

Scott Behring received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in 1996.  He has been practicing in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine for 15 years and is a certified golf fitness instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute. His passion is teaching his clients how to keep themselves healthy so they can get the most out of life.  When not working he loves time with his family, playing golf, and taking photographs.


Peter Stathas

Peter Stathas is co-owner of Freedom Physical Therapy Clinics & Services S.C. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Level  3 Medical/Fitness Professional.

Peter is a manual therapist with extensive expertise in musculoskeletal dysfunction and orthopedic injury. He graduated the University of Massachusetts, 1990, with a BS, in Physical Therapy (PT).

Peter has expertise in adolescent sports,dance,chronic pain and fibromyalgia,  injured golfers and golf conditioning. He founded & designed the “Golf for Life” program and was the first to bring the Pilates metro Milwaukee area.

Peter is affiliated with Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.


Nina Olsen

Nina Olsen graduated with honors from Marquette University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005. She earned a BS in Exercise Science from Marquette in 2003.

She is currently working toward completing the Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP).

Nina specializes in women’s health services including pelvic pain, incontinence, pre-natal, and post-partum care.

Her professional affiliations include: the American Physical Therapists Association and the American Society of Exercise Physiologists.


Michael Karegeannes

Michael Karegeannes is the co-owner of Freedom Physical Therapy Services in Fox Point, Wisconsin. He specializes in: TMD (Temporal Mandibular Joint Dysfunction); Spine and Pelvic Dysfunctions Myofascial Pain and Orthopedic therapies.

Michael graduated University of Wisconsin-Madison,1989, with a BS in Physical Therapy. He received his Athletic Training License from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and completed his Manual Therapy Certification and Masters of Health Science from the University of St. Augustine in Florida.

In 2005, Michael trained with Dr. Mariano Rocabado, who is the leading national expert in craniofacial therapies. Michael holds a Craniofacial Certification with the University of St. Augustine.

He did an Orofacial Pain and TMD residency with the University of Minnesota Dental School and is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (AAOP). Michael is recognized as a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist with the AAOP.

In 2011, Michael received thorough and extensive training in the treatment of intramuscular dry needling and is certified through Myopain Seminar focusing on myofacial trigger points.

Michael is a member of the APTA, WPTA, NATA, AAOP, PAMA and IMS.

 


Dr. Michael

Dr. Michael Gordon’s practice specializes in sports medicine and the disorders of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle.   His medical trifecta includes an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, an orthopaedic surgery residency from the prestigious Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and a fellowship in sports medicine from Boston’s New England Baptist Hospital where he worked with the Boston Celtics.

Dr. Gordon is team physician for the Milwaukee Bucks and works with Marquette University varsity athletes.

Dr. Gordon is a clinical instructor in orthopaedic surgery for the Medical College of Wisconsin and at Marquette University in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies.


Kalin Von

Kalin Von Trebra Albrecht earned an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Marquette University in 2008.  In 2009, she earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential.  Kalin specialized in Pediatrics with experience in acute care and subacute rehab.

She serves as assistant coach for the Nicolet High School Girl’s Volleyball team in Glendale, Wisconsin, and played college volleyball for Marquette.


Julie DuBois

Julie DuBois, RD, LD is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Coordinated Dietetics from Texas Christian University. A professional ballet dancer, Julie has always been interested in health and fitness. She enjoys coaching her clients to reach their personal health and fitness goals in a way that is both fun and challenging at the same time!


Jessica Meyer

Jessica Meyer lives in Austin, Texas where she is currently studying for her Master’s of Science in Nutrition Science. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition Science from Baylor University. She works as a gluten-free personal chef and nutritionist specializing in Celiac disease, diabetes, sports nutrition, brain spectrum disorders and more. Jeff Verhagen

Jeff Verhagen, PT, MBA, is the Brookfield, Wisconsin, Clinic Director at Freedom Physical Therapy Services

He is a manual therapist that graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. His post – graduate continuing education has focused on further expanding his expertise in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic spine and sports injuries. In addition, he draws on his past knowledge as a Master Fitness Trainer in the United States Army Reserves. He is a Desert Storm Veteran and a retired Major with over 20 years of service.

Jeff brings a sound clinical philosophy of treating patient problems versus symptoms with a complete eclectic approach to evaluation and treatment of the whole person. His professional affiliations include Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, and the American Physical Therapy Association.


Dr. Evan Nelson

Dr. Evan Nelson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Certified Specialist.  He is a faculty member in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. He currently treats patients in the UW Spine Physical Therapy Clinic and UW Runners Clinic. He also conducts research on the prevention and treatment of running injuries with the UW Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory.

 


Emily Ng

Emily Ng, RD, is a Registered Dietitian and recent graduate of the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently pursuing a career in sports dietetics and weight loss counseling.  Emily enjoys running and playing volleyball, soccer, and flag football in her spare time.

 


Kristin Novak

Kristin Novak – DPT, graduated Marquette University with a BS in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Kristin has worked as a research assistant in Neuroscience. She has completed continuing education courses in pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation and sports medicine. Kristin also participated in diagnosing a variety of pediatric ailments including torticollis, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay. Kristin is currently involved as a volunteer coach at local schools and recreational cheerleading and gymnastics programs.

 


Michael Verplancke

Michael Verplancke – DPT, CSCS – Graduated Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, BS in 1998 and Finch University/ North Chicago, Illinois) of Health Sciences / The Chicago Medical School in 2001 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has also studied  nutrition, orthopedic and neurological conditions, and sports rehabilitation.

In 2002, Mike obtained his credentials as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).


Jess Kolko

Jess Kolko is currently the Healthy Eating Registered Dietitian and Culinary Educator at Whole Foods Market Global Headquarters. When she is not knee deep in nutrition Jess also enjoys training and competing in long distance triathlon and running events.


Jim Bauman

Jim Bauman is currently the sports psychologist for the University of Virginia.  Previously held a similar position at the University of Washington ( Seattle).  Jim works with coaches, sports medicine and athletic trainers and conditioning coaches to provide student athletes with personal, academic and sports related support.

Jim was the senior sports psychologist for the US Olympic Training Center from 1999-2009, and has been a consultant for the Navy SEALS, the US Olympic & Paralympic teams and USA Swimming.

He earned his PhD from Washington State University in counseling with emphasis in sports and performance enhancement.


Jeremy has

Jeremy has been a chef for over 20 years and has worked in kitchens all over the world. He realized the importance of healthy eating after losing 70lbs through better diet. Now Jeremy specializes in making healthy food that tastes great too.

 


Breeze Brown

Breeze Brown has her Masters in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Colorado State University.  She is the nutritionist for several pro athletes including swimmers, cyclists and triathletes.  Breeze races triathlon, cyclocross and does some road racing as well.  As an athlete herself, Breeze understands the importance of proper nutrition for performance and loves nothing more than to help others improve their performance through nutrition!

About 1.5 yrs ago Breeze started an all natural, gluten and dairy free energy bar company and has since made this her prime focus.

 


Kelley Schall

“Kelley Schall is a Registered Dietitian living in San Diego, California. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at the University of Texas at Austin, and is now pursuing a career in clinical dietetics. Kelley’s interests include open water swimming, sports nutrition, and cooking.”
